Suitable as a primary or backup lamp
SCUBAPRO has introduced a new diving torch. The Nova Light 230 has its name because of the 230 lumens (6,000 Kelvin) and is equipped with a five-watt LED. According to SCUBAPRO it has a luminous period between 18 to 20 hours. The approved depth limit is 120 metres. The torch requires three standard C-cell batteries. The estimated life of the LED bulb is 100,000 hours.

The lamp is made of a sturdy and durable aluminum enclosure. With a size of 24.5 cm it should fit in any BCD pocket. The weight is 140 grams. According SCUBAPRO the Nova Light 230 is suitable as primary torch as a backup for technical divers. The diving torch is available from November 2009 at authorized SCUBAPRO dealers for a suggested retail price of 99 euros. (jdo)
