Well according to Wikipedia the Blue Ringed Octopus is one of the most venomous marine species. Even if they are small they can be deadly for humans.
They hunt small crabs, hermit crabs, and shrimp, and may bite attackers, including humans, if provoked.

The one I was lucky to take pictures was about 5 cm “big”. Quite a bit of a challenge with a Tokina 10-17mm on the camera – but it did work and I survived … :)
Dive was done with Oceans 5 dive centre.
