A really nice day out in the desert of the South Sinai

flattr this!

I know the website is called Dive Hive. But these pictures have been taken very close to the Red Sea – so …

If you plan to visit the South Sinai think about donating one day for going to the desert. Especially in winter the temperatures in the desert is lovely during the daytime and besides the fantastic landscape there are other nice things to spot.

On the trip today I saw my fist ever Uromastyx Ornata. Not that I knew that the lizard was called like this – I had to search for it in Google :) – enjoy the pictures … and thanks to my friends Jeanette and Clive for a really nice day out!
